Why you’ll love it
On auction this week we have a classic solitaire ring in a timeless design and with an exclusive cornflower blue sapphire.
Classic Sapphire Solitaire Ring has a beautiful six-prong setting with a decorative safety band for holding larger gemstones. This allows for the prongs to be thinner, making the gemstone appear larger and giving it extra sparkle.
This ring has the gemstone set slightly lower than The Solitaire Ring, making this model perfect for you who prefer to wear your gemstone closer to the finger, while still having it set high enough to really pop.
Set in this ring we have an absolutely stunning cornflower blue sapphire that originates from Sri Lanka. Blue sapphire is one of the most popular gemstones in the world, known for being exclusive and highly sought-after.
This ring is brand new and has only been on show for a few weeks in our showroom.
This week we're also launching our brand new Gemstone Auctions, for you who prefer to purchase a loose gemstone to set in the jewelry of your choice. Find this week's gemstone auction here!
Stacking
Classic Sapphire Solitaire Ring looks beautiful alone, but unlike many traditional solitaire rings, it is also perfect for stacking.

Tip:
We suggest you wait no longer than 1 minute before the auction ends to place your bid. Many people have the same strategy, and someone else's bid could become the final and winning bid.
A proxy can help you with this. Setting a proxy amount that is equal to your maximum bid ensures that even when you wait to make your last bid, someone else needs to bid HIGHER than your secret proxy to win – otherwise you will win automatically!
Good luck!
