A beautiful solitaire ring in true vintage style.
In the center sits an 0.57 CT antique cut diamond.
The beautiful milgrain decoration was common in jewelry around the turn of the last century (1800/1900). It is a technique where small gold dots create a romantic, almost fluted feeling in the ring band and around the gemstone, which gives the gold a soft sparkle and the jewelry a deeply well-crafted character.

About Our Antique Diamonds
An antique diamond oozes vintage and old-school glamour!
Antique-cut diamonds are those diamonds that were cut before 1940 but after 1870 (before that, diamonds were often rose-cut or had even simpler cuts). This was before the modern brilliant cut was spread widely, and before we could achieve perfect angles and optimal symmetry through the use of advanced cutting tools, that we can today.
Therefore, each antique diamond is unique in its cut. They have a warm subtle shimmer and if you look closely you will see that they are uneven in shape.
When we handpick each diamond, we make a tradeoff between the quality of the cut, the color and the clarity. Every antique diamond we set in a piece of jewelry is unique in its own way.
Because antique diamonds were cut so long ago, they have often been used in jewelry before. That gives each of them a secret story!
There are two different cutting shapes of antique cut diamonds: we have the Old European Cut, which is round and the predecessor of the modern brilliant, and the Old Mine Cut which is the predecessor of today's modern cushion cut.
Just like all other diamonds, antique-cut diamonds have a hardness of 10 (highest) on Moh's Scale of Hardness.
The diamond with the lowest foot-print
The antique diamond could be the best choice for you who are looking for a diamond that has made as low foot-print as possible in modern times. No new resources have been put into mining this diamond as for modern diamonds, nor leaving a huge production footprint as with synthetic diamonds (popularly called "lab-grown diamonds").

Delivery - How It Works
When your jewelry piece is finished in our studio, it goes through a thorough quality control before we carefully pack it in a beautiful package.
The jewelry is then shipped to you, fully insured to your delivery point. You then pick up your package together with your ID.

As all our jewelry is made in a specific gold colour, a specific size and with unique choices of gemstones for each customer, we offer no right of return.
