How does the auction work and what jewelry come up on auction?

The Jewelry On Auction
The jewelry on auction is a mix of fresh-from-the-studio pieces with unique, colourful gemstones and pre-loved jewelry that customers have handed in.
After The Auction Ends
After the auction ends, the winner has 48 hours to complete the payment.
Bidders in Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Great Britain can pay via Klarna , Paypal or regular card payment.
Other international bidders can pay via Paypal or regular card payment.
Delivery
After the auction ends, the jewelry is shipped to you fully insured.
Please allow 3-5 business days for shipping within Sweden, and approximately one week for international shipping.
If you have added size adjustment to your order, please allow an additional two weeks to this.
How The Auction Works:
It is very simple!
→ New auctions are published on Thursdays at 8 p.m Stockholm time
→ The auction ends one week later, the following Thursday at 8 p.m Stockholm time
→ You can adjust the size of the jewelry after the end of the auction
→ We accept bidders from all countries
→ Insured delivery is included
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I see the size of a ring that is currently on auction?
You can see the size on the product's page under "Size".
Can I change the size of a ring I won at auction?
Yes! Downsizing costs SEK 900 in 18K yellow gold and rose gold, and SEK 1100 in white gold. Upsizing costs an additional SEK 480 per full size because this involves the addition of gold. (A full size is, for example, from size 17.25 to 18.25.)
Do I have to log in to bid?
Yes. Since the bids - just like in a regular auction - represent a legal obligation, you need to have registered to be able to bid. It is very easy and is done automatically when you place your first bid!
Are there any additional costs added after the auction ends?
No additional fees are applied after the auction ends. The winning bid is the final price you pay. If you wish to change the size of the jewelry, this will be charged separately.
How does it work with right of return?
Just like in regular auctions, there is no right of return at Mumbaistockholm's jewelry auction.
How do I submit pre-loved Mumbai jewelry for auction?
We accept pre-loved Mumbai jewelry that are ready to find a new home. When you hand in your jewelry to us, you will receive a fixed value based on what you paid for the jewelry and the condition of the piece today. The value can be used as store credit on a new piece of Mumbai jewelry and you get access to this credit value immediately. If you wish to hand in your jewelry to us, please send us pictures of your old jewelry to: online@mumbaistockholm.com
Why Auctions?
We have offered fine jewelry auctions since 2020.
We started with the auctions as a result of restricted traveling due to the pandemic. We wanted to give everyone a broader access to our showroom jewelry — and the auctions became a way for us to every week highlight a few chosen pieces from our showroom, take new pictures of them and put them up online for
anyone to bid on.
Today, the auctions have become a wonderful platform for you to get your hands on unique gemstone jewelry that you might not otherwise have dared to try! It has also become an amazing forum for recirculating old Mumbai jewelry that someone else is now ready to love.
